The whereabouts of Shane Montgomery, a West Chester University (WCU) student missing since the eve of Thanksgiving, are still unknown.

According to the Main Line Times, the Federal Bureau of Investigation is acting on "credible" evidence that has led the search back to the Schuylkill River. Montgomery was last seen on Wednesday, Nov. 26 and has been missing nearly three weeks.

Marine units are expected to search the river near where the WCU senior was last sighted, FBI Special Agent J.J. Klaver told the Times. Residents in Manayunk have been helping Montgomery's family and friends in the search as well.

Fox 29 in Philadelphia reported last week that surveillance footage placed Montgomery, 21, heading west on Main Street after leaving Kildare's Pub early on Thanksgiving Day. The footage is still sealed, but it was reportedly obtained from a nail salon across the street from Kildare's.

He was then seen walking over a footbridge with a canal underneath and toward a parking lot, all the while along the river.

"This is the last place we know he came. No one was around him... nobody else followed him... he walked into the parking lot. If he came back here... there's a lot of different ways he could have gone that wouldn't have been picked up by a camera," Northwest Detectives Captain James Kelly told Fox 29. "If he did fall in the river, he's going to go a far way down- we're going to continue to keep checking."

Anyone wishing to help in the search or get more information on it is encouraged to visit HelpFindShaneMontgomery.com.

The Montgomery family is offering a $65,000 reward to anyone who provides information leading to Shane's discovery. He is five-foot-11 and 140 pounds, he has a celtic tattoo that spans his shoulder blades and was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, a button-up shirt of the same color and jeans.
