Shane Montgomery walked out of a bar early in the morning on Thanksgiving, possibly not intoxicated, and has not been seen since.

According to the Huffington Post, the 21-year-old liberal arts major at West Chester University (WCU) in Philadelphia, Penn. was last seen at Kildare's Irish Pub around 2 a.m. on Nov. 27. One of the last pieces of evidence to his whereabouts was a cell phone tower that placed him on Main Street in the Manayunk neighborhood at 2:30 a.m.

"It's a nightmare I can't wake up from," Shane's mother Karen told the HP. "I'm in despair - not knowing anything and not finding him."

Mariana DiMartino, a family member who is serving as the Montgomery's spokeswoman, said there is unfortunately nothing new to report. The family is currently trying to raise as much awareness as possible in order to reach anyone who might be able to offer some clues.

"Unfortunately, we don't have any solid leads," DiMartino told the HP. "[The police] are still looking ferociously for any evidence - anything that might give us a clue as to what happened to Shane."

WPVI in Philadelphia reported that the Montgomery family upped the reward for information on Shane's whereabouts to $50,000. They also launched HelpFindShaneMontgomery.com to provide information, share news and collect tips.

"Somebody knows what happened to him," Karen Montgomery told the HP. "I just need one courageous person to dig deep in their soul and come back and say what happened, without worrying about the consequences of what might happen to them. This is my child. People love him. Come forward and tell me what happened to Shane and where I can find him.

"We're doing everything we can on our end to keep it out there and try to figure out what happened," she said. "We've been distributing fliers, we've collected a reward, we pray every day and community volunteers have searched up and down the neighborhood."
