Brett Hundley may have the chance to lead the UCLA Bruins through the inaugural College Football Playoff (CFP), but it seems like it will be his last in college.

According to ESPN L.A., the young quarterback appeared on the "Jim Rome Show" and indicated he had his mind made up about the impending NLF Draft. Hundley has one more year of NCAA athletic eligibility left, but academically he is a senior.

Hundley has improved as a passer in each of his three seasons at UCLA, but he has already made it abundantly clear that he is a terrific athlete and a capable runner.

"The conversation keeps coming up," Hundley told Rome on the show. "I've got my degree. I've done everything I wanted to do here. I've left something really, truly great, and I feel good."

After beating USC last weekend, Hundley improved to 3-0 against the Bruins' crosstown rival and the win also put UCLA in a good position to reach the Pac-12 Championship game. If UCLA can beat Stanford on Friday, they will then take on Oregon for the conference title. The winner would then likely earn one of the four CFP spots.

Winning will no doubt help Hundley's case for the NFL, especially if his is an integral role in it, but ESPN's evaluators are already sold on what they have seen from him on the field. What's more is that Hundley's studious nature in the classroom has translated to the film room and the locker room.

If anything will hold Hundley's draft stock down, it will be his accuracy, decision-making and pocket presence, all of which are coachable. Mel Kiper Jr. placed Hundley behind Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston in his NFL draft board for quarterbacks who would be eligible to declare.

Hundley could of course choose to try and solidify himself as a top-10 draft pick and play one more year in college, but he seems ready to go pro.
