Amazon is coming for the Google Chromecast and Roku TV streaming devices with its Fire TV stick.

The online retailer announced the device Monday with a two-day promotion offering the device for $19 for Prime users. The Fire TV Stick is available for pre-order until its release Nov. 19 and will be priced at $39 regularly.

In the box is the flash-drive-like device that plugs into your television set's HDMI port and a remote to control it with. The stick will connect its user to Netflix, Hulu Plus, Pandora, Spotify, WatchESPN, NBA Game Time, YouTube, Twich, many more streaming services and, of course, Amazon Instant Video.

Don't have a Prime Account and don't want one? Not a problem.

"If you're not a Prime member yet, sign up for your free 30-day trial then purchase Fire TV Stick to get this special price. Add it to your cart and the discount will appear at checkout. Hurry, this offer is good for two days only," the company wrote in the $20-off promotion's description.

"The team has packed an unbelievable amount of power and selection into an incredible price point-Fire TV Stick is just $39."

Like its Kindle Fire tablets and Fire smartphone, Amazon appears to really be selling Prime memberships. For example, Bezos has told more than one media outlet that he sells the Fire tablets for little to no profit. His goal is to get people to buy books, movies and other goods from the Amazon online store and Prime is easily the best way to shop with the world's most prominent online retailer.
