The famed Alabama Crimson Tide (7) defense has a tall order Saturday hosting Kenny Hill and the high-powered Texas A&M Aggies (21) aerial assault.

Texas A&M has stumbled upon entering the tough part of their schedule, while Alabama has been knocked down a few pegs due to a sputtering offense. Led by QB Blake Sims, Alabama scored 17 in the loss to Ole Miss and 14 in the narrow win over Arkansas.

Meanwhile, Texas A&M is coming two consecutive losses to Mississippi State and Ole Miss, the first time they have played a ranked opponent since their opener. Both Miss. teams were able to hold down the Aggies' passing game while mounting a balanced attack on offense.

"Everybody's got such a high expectation for what our team should be," Alabama head coach Saban told reporters after the win over Arkansas, according to ESPN. "It really sorta, if you want to know the truth about it, (ticks) me off when I take to people that have this expectation like they're disappointed that we only won the game, 14-13, and in the way we played."

Sims has had a nice season thus far and his QB rating is about 60 points higher when the Tide plays at home. Ole Miss and Miss. State have shown that the way to get the best of the Aggies defense is with a balanced approach. In both those games, Texas A&M played from behind and Hill wound up throwing multiple interceptions.

Alabama needs to rely on T.J Yeldon and Derrick Henry to get the run game going, while Sims focuses on moving the ball and help the Tide offense win the time-of-possession game. Texas A&M will be trying to avoid a three-game skid, so they may come out with an aggressive game plan early on to get out in front.
