When weighing different colleges, economic diversity is an important factor, especially for prospective students from low-income families.

As part of U.S. News and World Report's 30th annual college rankings, the publication's "Economic Diversity Among the Top 25 Ranked Schools" list is a useful resource. Many major colleges and universities target bright young students from low-income families to expand their economic diversity.

Here are the top 10 schools (among U.S. News' top 25 national schools) with the most undergraduates receiving Pell Grants, federal financial aid that does not need to paid back.
