Jesus "Bobo" Wilson's indefinite football suspension only lasted one week, as Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher announced the sophomore wide receiver has been reinstated.

According to ESPN, Wilson pleaded guilty to misdemeanor petty theft and misdemeanor criminal mischief, though the original charge was for a felony. He admitted in July to police that he stole a scooter when he saw the keys in the vehicle before he eventually crashed it.

Wilson has paid $1,074 in compensation to the scooter's owner and was sentenced to 30 days at a jail work camp followed by two years' probation. If he completes the work camp, his probation may be reduced to one year.

Florida State University (FSU) policy states that any student-athlete charged with a felony cannot play in any games. Fisher indicated that he lifted the suspension because Wilson was allowed to practice and displayed maturity in handling his situation.

"Bobo will be back in the mix this week," Fisher said after Monday's practice, according to the Tallahassee Democrat.

Wilson will be eligible to play in the team's home game on Saturday against Citadel. But Wilson was also at the Seminoles' game last Saturday for the season opener against Oklahoma State, played in AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys.

"I think sometimes taking a guy to a game, making him have to sit there is a lot worse than leaving him at home," Fisher said. "I had no plans on playing him before.

"He's done everything that we've asked him to do. He's been very mature with how he's handled things."

Facing a suspension for academic reasons, Chris Casher does not have a defined return date. Fisher has not given an official update on when the defensive end/linebacker may return to the field.
