Lloyd Lindquist, a 78-year-old part-time math tutor at the Lake Sumter State College, has been charged with nine counts of video voyeurism and two counts of child pornography.

The foreign exchange student host has been accused of using spy cameras and baby monitors to record teenage students' activities when they used the bathroom and shower at his home.

The arrest comes after a German teen, who is a junior at the Tavares High School, discovered a secret camera recorder in the bathroom of Lindquist's home in Marsh Harbor Drive. Prior to the discovery, the victim had noticed the suspicious purchase while using the host's computer.

"It was made to look like an alarm clock, but it was actually a motion-activated camera," said Jon Hall with Tavares police, wftv reports.

Police officials said that Lindquist hosted students through the Forte International Exchange Association and CCI Greenheart. During investigation, they found video files dating back to 2009 on his computer.

"We found several hidden cameras," said Hall. "They were actually the spy cams you can order on eBay, online or at local stores."

The College officials said that Linquist has been temporarily suspended from work and will be allowed to return to campus only after the charges slapped against him has been resolved.

Lindquist's arraignment has been scheduled for early September. He payed a $55,000 bond and left the Lake County Jail Monday night.

"I would feel heartbroken for my own child, somebody invading their personal space," said Stephanie Dollins, whose sister is a friend of the teen. "I honestly don't know what I would do to somebody like that doing it to my own children," Click Orlando reports.
