An annual tradition, the Princeton Review is set to release its extensive college survey that contributes to dozens of "top 20" lists.

The Princeton Review surveyed 130,000 students at 379 of the top colleges and universities in the nation regarding a wide variety of topics. Among the most famous lists are "best party schools," "happiest students" and "most beautiful campuses."

Released today on PrincetonReview.com, the 62 categories also include "quality of life," "social scene" and "town life." The Princeton Review also decided to include campus security information in their rankings without it contributing to a school's score.

Some notable number ones are as follows, per a press release announcing the rankings.

• Most Beautiful Campus - Colgate University (NY)
• Best-Run College - Elon University (NC)
• Best College Library - University of Chicago (IL)
• Best Campus Food - Virginia Tech (VA)
• Best College Dorms - Washington University in St. Louis (MO)
• Best Health Services - Pennsylvania State University (PA)
• Happiest Students - Vanderbilt University (TN)
• Most Conservative Students - Texas A&M University (TX)
• Most Liberal Students - Sarah Lawrence College (NY)
• LGBT-Friendly - Stanford University (CA)
• Best Athletic Facilities - University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (IL)
• Students Pack the Stadiums - University of Kansas (KS)
• Top Party Schools - Syracuse University (NY)
• Top Stone-Cold Sober Schools - Brigham Young University (UT)
• Their Students Love These Colleges - Claremont McKenna College (CA)

The rankings will also be released as a book - "The Best 379 Colleges, 2015 Edition" - Aug. 5.

"Every college in our book offers outstanding academics," Robert Franek, the guide's author and Princeton Review's senior vice president/publisher, said in the release. "These colleges differ significantly in their program offerings, campus culture, locales, and cost. Our purpose is not to crown one college 'best' overall or to rank these distinctive schools 1 to 379 on any single topic. We present our 62 ranking lists to give applicants the broader base of campus feedback to choose the college that's best for them."
