Florida National University is partnering up with an online education company to offer continuing education opportunities to students.

Through this partnership, Ed4online, an online adult educational content for universities, career training schools, and corporations, will provide online continuing education options and professional development courses to students and local community members seeking to further their education.

In its mission to offer extensive not-for-credit, continuing education opportunities and resources to prospective individuals, Florida National University will utilize the online classroom structure that Ed4Online offers to partner organizations. The partnership will be instrumental in delivering a large number of exceptional continuing education options, including healthcare, corporate and business training, and other general career options to those seeking to expand their knowledge.

"Modern students require modern resources when it comes to furthering their education and at Florida National University, we always strive to give our students the tools they need to succeed," Caridad M. Hernandez, vice president of Academic Affairs at Florida National University, said in a statement. "Ed4Online's digital continuing education courses are a great way for active students to remain comfortable in their current lifestyle, while also benefitting from top quality education opportunities."

School officials said the university strives to provide the educational facilities and resources that support intensive sessions of study in small classes, in order to foster, in the student, the attainment of a quality university education according to the student's personal goals and the advancement of modern technology.

Florida National University offers numerous distance-learning programs, focusing on a wide array of proficiencies, including Masters Degrees for Business Administration and Health Services Administration, as well as Bachelors and Associates Degrees for various focuses.

Ed4Online will be able to offer the public university's continuing education students relevant materials that are essential in today's job market. It will also supplement the accessibility that prospective students have to crucial materials by engaging in "pedagogical best practices and placing emphasis on fundamental skill development."
