AMD has revealed the Ryzen Pro CPU range, aiming at enterprise users who are looking for better security built. AMD's Ryzen Pro CPUs consist of six models, two each under the brand, Ryzen 3 Pro, Ryzen 5 Pro and Ryzen 7 Pro. The semiconductor company promises several features that distinguish the new Ryzen Pro CPUs from the regular commercial Ryzen.

AMD's latest Ryzen PRO lineup of processors will be available in six SKUs that are under the Ryzen 3, Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 families. The Ryzen Pro CPU range will target different market segments and the devices will provide different levels of performance.

The tech company aimed the Ryzen 7 PRO models at workstation applications and the CPU's will arrive with eight cores along with a simultaneous multithreading enabled. However, AMD aimed the Ryzen 3 PRO variants at office workloads on quad-core CPUs even without SMT, Gadgets 360 reported.

Meanwhile, Ryzen 7 PRO and the Ryzen 5 PRO's specs resemble those of current Ryzen processors. But, the Ryzen 3 PRO chips will come along with four cores without SMT and operating at a base frequency of 3.1 - 3.5 GHz with 2+8 MB of cache.

AMD's Ryzen PRO processors will come along with a dedicated logic block for encryption as well as decryption, which cut down the workload on the CPU cores. AMD designed specifically the Ryzen 3 Pro, Ryzen 5 Pro and Ryzen 7 Pro to take on Intel's Core i3, i5 and i7 models. Also, the Ryzen PRO lineup of processors has a built-in AES 128-bit encryption engine, as well as a DRAM encryption independent of the operating system and applications, ZDNet reported.

Nonetheless, SVP of the Computing and Graphics Group at AMD, Jim Anderson, stated that the new CPU's is a part of the company's important step in their journey to bring excitement and innovation back to the PC universe. In spite of that, the semiconductor company will roll out the Ryzen Pro CPUs on August 29.
