Therefore, students need to be wise in choosing a major that will give them a good return on investment after graduation. Here are the Top 5 degrees that can immediately land a job after graduation.

Biomedical Engineering

According to the United States Bureau of Labor and Statistics, the biomedical engineering industry is expected to grow more by 72 percent by 2018 and beyond. Thanks to the growing number of research being carried out in this field. Biomedical engineers are also some of the highest paid professionals with a salary range of $62,000 to $104,000 a year.

Structural Engineering

It's not surprising that the most in-demand and high-paying jobs are those in the field of engineering. Structural engineering is a branch of civil engineering whose main expertise is on the construction and design of tall and large structures. Their salary range is similar to biomedical engineers.
