By

Microsoft has finally announced that its Project Scorpio is officially called Xbox One X. It's touted as the smallest Xbox console and costs a whopping $499. With the price already out, many experts and observers are predicting that it would be difficult to sell. What's inside the newest addition to the Xbox family and what will be the games during its launch.

Even before Microsoft revealed all the details about the Xbox One X, they said that the new console will have a premium pricing. That's because it will be aimed at people who want better visuals and performance.

Inside the Box

The new Xbox One X looks similar in design to the XBox One S but smaller. In fact, Microsoft said that it is the "smallest Xbox ever." Despite its small size, the new console is packed with power.

It has 6 teraflops of graphical power and a custom GPU engine that runs at 1172MHz. That's a big difference compared to its main competitor - Sony's PlayStation 4 Pro - which only has 4,2 teraflops and 911MHZ.

Aside from these, the Xbox One X is equipped with an Ultra HD Blu-ray drive which can play 4K movies and entertainment. It also comes with a liquid-cooled vapor-chamber cooling which can only be found on GTX 1080 and other high-end PC gaming cards.

According to Microsoft, the Xbox One X will be able to run 900p and 1080p Xbox games on native 4K and will give some graphical boost to Xbox One and One S games.

Launch Exclusive Line-ups

Microsoft also announced the games that will be part of the exclusive line-up when they launch the Xbox One X on November 7. One of them will be the much-awaited Forza Motorsport 7, which will be launched on October 3.

Other games include Sea of Thieves, Crackdown, Crimson Skies, an original Xbox game. Phil Spencer said that there will be 22 games included in the Xbox One X launch. He also added that there will be introducing other original Xbox games.
