Apple is increasing the production of its iPad Pro 2 10.5-inch model to meet the goal of six million quantity. Nonetheless, images of the new cases of Apple's upcoming iPad Pro 2017 versions have surfaced online.

The Cupertino based tech titan is increasing the production of the Apple iPad Pro 2 10.5-inch variant to ship the target quantity. The tech giant plans to ship up to six million units of iPad Pro 2 at the end of 2017, Mac Observer reported.

The tech company is said to target 500,000 units of the iPad Pro 2 10.5-inch per month, but Apple has only reached 600,000 units for the month of March and April. However, KGI Securities Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo stated that there's a 70 percent chance that the tech company would unveil the iPad Pro 2 10.5-inch model at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2017 event.

Meanwhile, a leaker shared a couple of images showing cases for both the 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2 and 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 models. In the photos, the small circular cutouts is very noticeable.

The new cases revealed cutouts for Apple's upcoming iPad Pro speaker grilles, lighting port, a vertically-aligned camera and microphone. It features two new microphone holes for both 2017 iPad Pro models, one at the top center of the rear side and one on the top edge, 9to5Mac reported.

The new cases also revealed that the iPad Pro 2 10.5-inch model will remain close to the iPad Pro 9.7-inch in terms of size. Nonetheless, the device will come along with a larger display that is made possible by reducing the bezels. It is also anticipated that the new cases for the 2017 iPad Pro versions will feature a cutout for the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

That being said, Apple is reportedly ramping up the production of the 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2, so the device could debut at the WWDC 2017 event next month. Apple is also expected to introduce the 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 at the same event.
