Reports about the Microsoft Surface Phone have mounted up on the internet since last year. Recently surfaced reports suggest that Microsoft's upcoming handset will arrive in this year's Holiday season. The Microsoft Surface Phone will stand out from the rest of the smartphones in the sense that the device will be fully compatible with the entire Windows 10 ecosystem.

New reports claim that the Microsoft Surface Phone will be available during the 2017 Holiday season. Along with the Microsoft Surface Phone, the Xbox Project Scorpio gaming console is also said to arrive on the same schedule.

Nonetheless, the Redmond, Washington based tech titan hasn't released any confirmation about the 2017 Holiday release date of the Surface Phone. In spite of that, tech enthusiasts and experts strongly believed to see the highly anticipated smartphone before the year ends. The Microsoft Surface Phone will stand out from the rest of the smartphones due to its compatibility with the entire Windows 10 ecosystem, which include desktop apps, Mobi Picker reported.

Microsoft's upcoming Surface Phone is likely to be a strong rival for the Google Pixel, Apple's iPhone 8 and the Samsung Galaxy S8. Tech experts are expecting that the Microsoft Surface Phone would target business and corporate users, and the handset could replace their personal computer, Market Exclusive reported.

In this case, it can be concluded that the upcoming Microsoft Surface Phone might be a device between smartphone devices and PC. The Microsoft Surface Phone might be a handset which is powerful enough to support several PC programs.

The Microsoft Surface Phone is expected to arrive with a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen as well as a 4GB RAM. The device might also come along with an 8MP front-facing snapper and a 21MP rear-view camera. As the tech giant will be hosting an event in Shanghai this coming May 23, tech enthusiasts are expecting that Microsoft might announce updates regarding its Surface Phone at the event.
