The Taiwanese mobile phone network company, HTC, has been ramping up its release of marketing material and teasers to promote its upcoming HTC U 11 smartphone. Aside from just featuring the unique side-mounted touch controls of the squeezable smartphone, the tech giant has now released a brand new teaser that showcases more of HTC U 11's overall design.

The new HTC U 11 teaser prominently shows the Squeeze for the Brilliant U tagline, which is a nod to the unique one-handed touch controls of the upcoming HTC handset. More importantly, the latest HTC U 11 teaser gives smartphone enthusiasts a closer look at the back portion of the handset, which includes its smoothed out edges and its sleek metal frame. Nonetheless, more teasers of the HTC U 11 smartphone should be released leading up to the official launch of the smartphone on May 16 in Taiwan, Gadgets 360 reported.

Aside from HTC U 11's design, several leaks revealed a lot of details regarding the upcoming smartphone's specs and feature. Just recently, the AnTuTu benchmark results of the HTC U 11 smartphone were spotted outlining its different hardware specs. The leak revealed that the HTC U 11 smartphone will be available with a 4GB of RAM, and might be coupled with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor.

Meanwhile, recently surfaced reports claimed that the HTC U 11 Android smartphone will be up for grabs without the 3.5mm audio jack, and the device will instead come along with a USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter to help tech fans with the transition. Nevertheless, this is not the first smartphone of the tech company to ditch the iconic headphone jack. The HTC Bolt smartphone did not feature a 3.5-mm headphone jack, Geeky Gadgets reported.

In spite of that, the HTC U 11 Android smartphone will come along with a 5.5-inch QHD display with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. The device will also feature a 12MP rear shooter and a 16MP front facing snapper.
