iPad Pro Mini to Rock A10X Chip; Launch Reportedly alongside New Apple Pencil in June [VIDEO]

By

Apple is expected to launch the iPad Pro iterative upgrade this year. The lineups reportedly include the 9.7-inch iPad Pro Mini to complement the bigger models, a 10.5-inch unit and 12.9 tablet. There are some upgrades that come with the iPad Pro 2 which are also expected in the iPad Pro Mini as well.

Upgraded Apple Pencil

The Pro features will include the compatibility with Apple Pencil as Apple is improving the stylus considering more integrated apps from Safari to iMessage. The Pencil will aim at the pros for drawing and handwriting.

Faster Display Technology

iPad Pro Mini is expected to arrive with TrueTone display. This would be a major overhaul especially when compared to the iPad Mini 4. The lineup will have smoother system to pan and zoom, Bloomberg reported.

Apple's A10 Chip

The iPad Pro 2 is said to use Apple's next-gen chip, the powerful A10 fusion. Thus, the iPad Pro Mini will most likely to rock the processor if it materializes this year. The iOS 11 beta is currently on test and soon it will be available for public.

Other Changes in Configuration

While people are talking about the 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2, the mini model could as well steal the show as this is not an iterative upgrade, but rather, a brand new model launched by Apple. The Cupertino giant is slowly moving away from Air variant after the low-cost iPad 2017 is introduced to replace the iPad Air.

iPad Pro Mini Release Date

iPad Pro Mini is expected to make an appearance at WWDC 2017 but the information is highly speculative at the moment. A few online sources have learned that Apple's World Wide Developers Conference might be the right time for new tablets announcement but it is also plausible for Apple to only introduce the iOS 11 and give the press a little clues on Apple's roadmap. Nonetheless, everything remains to be seen, Donklephant reported.
