Apple iPad Pro 2 Merges iPad Air, MacBook Air Functionalities [VIDEO]

By

Since latest models of iPad Air and MacBook Air are no-where to be seen, reports suggest that the notable specs and features of the two could possibly merge in the upcoming iPad Pro 2. The next-gen iPad Pro which is slated to be released soon is said to adopt Windows-based laptops capabilities which could possibly lead to laptop/PC replacement.

Despite the clamor in the market regarding the release of MacBook Pro 2016 and 9.7-inch iPad, loyal Apple fans are still hoping to see the successors of iPad Air and MacBook Air. However, although the thought of it is not entirely impossible, Apple's latest moves suggest about merging Air features and specs to a new device.

In relation to that, a bold prediction starts to surface about the possible merging of iPad Air and MacBook Air functionalities into the iPad Pro 2. This can be gleaned from recent Apple ads where iPad Pros are pictured as competitors of traditional laptops especially the Windows-based PCs, New York Magazine reported.

If the prediction turns out to be true, this could bring two advantages to Apple. First, to offer a tablet with PC-like functionalities but half of the price of a laptop is a strong move in the market; and second, reaching out to the youngest group of the society which are the children without having to intimidate them with the real laptop experience.

On the other hand, other reports claim that the 9.7-inch iPad that was released in the month of March is the iPad Air replacement. The tablet that was released alongside upgraded Mac Pro, iPhone 7 RED variant and iPhone SE has a price tag of $329, PC Mag reported.

Apple has never failed to amaze the members of the tech community with their constant innovation and quality products. Should the company decides to kill the Air brand (which remains unconfirmed until now), the Cupertino giant is expected to find ways to replace the well-loved lineup.
