Who would have thought that a 12 year old boy will be able to play a musical instrument in one of the world's renowned universities? Louis Moss, a boy from Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire just did that.

Moss is the youngest organist to play in Oxford University after he won a musical scholarship, and according to Telegraph, he only started taking up the instrument a year ago, but he will be playing hymns this spring at Jesus College chapel services. And because he is only a boy, his bench is designed to move up and down so he could reach the pedals.

Moss began playing the piano when he was still six years old, BBC reported. He also is considered to be one of only 750 young people to learn to play the organ in UK.

His mother, Helen, said that Moss has liked playing the organ because he finds it very challenging and because of the fact that it is a loud instrument. She also said that part of the many ambitions and things he wants to do in his life is becoming a musician or composer.

Rev. Dr. Megan Daffern, chaplain of Jesus College said that Moss has something special. He was even found by one pupil at The Cotswold School in a university outreach program where participates in reaching out to youngsters who are not at public schools and do not have organ teacher.

Moss who regularly visits his local church to practice his organ playing said that he has only been playing the instrument for a year but has been playing the piano since he was six. He said that he takes time everyday to practice and even have his own keyboard in his room to practice on. He said he was very pleased to have been given such opportunity.
