Nintendo Switch and NES Classic On Limited Stock Today At Best Buy; Several Retailers Not Getting Enough Units To Keep Up [VIDEO]

By

The hybrid console Nintendo Switch and the retro remake NES Classic Edition are experiencing quite a lot of success in the gaming world. Nonetheless, the Japanese tech giant has been having a hard time to keep pace with the immense demand, which is why several game enthusiasts are still not able to get their hands on either of the consoles.

As the Japanese video game company has promised to increase its production for both the Nintendo Switch and NES Classic Edition, some retailers are claiming they didn't get enough units. The majority of the retailers reported that the gaming systems are basically just selling like hotcakes. Previously, the retail company Toys R Us launched a promotion when they recently received new units from the tech giant, Gamespot reported. As expected, all of their Nintendo Switch consoles and NES Classic Edition immediately flew off the shelves as they arrive.

Now, Best Buy has made it known that they will actually be getting new stocks of Nintendo's gaming systems today, March 29. The consumer electronics company hit on their official Twitter account to inform game enthusiasts that they will be holding a limited sale on their online stores for the Nintendo Switch with Gray Joy-Cons, the Nintendo Switch with Neon Red, Neon Blue Joy-Cons, as well as the NES Classic Edition.

Considering that the Nintendo Switch and NES Classic Edition have been more or less impossible to find since launch, Nintendo fans are advised to grab the console at Best Buy now, Forbes reported. This may be the only chance game enthusiasts will have for a little while to purchase either of the gaming consoles.

That being said, Nintendo is still expecting Nintendo Switch demand to last until the holidays. In spite of that, the tech titan is reportedly doing everything to catch up with the console's demand.
