By

As 2017 is unfolding, the technology integrated in wearable has become more advance which led to the release of another set of smartwatches to choose from. From Asus, Huawei and LG, which wearable do you think will add value to your hard-earned money?

Asus ZenWatch 3

As the first Asus circular smartwatch, ZenWatch 3 is hailed as the best looking smartwatch in the market today. The third generation of Asus wearable is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100, equipped with 4GB of internal storage, 512MB of RAM and runs Android Wear 2.0.

Since the latest Android Wear version now supports iOS devices, ZenWatch 3 works with iPhones through Bluetooth version 4.1 or cloud via Wi-Fi 802.11. According to Android Headlines, the watch is water and dust resistant, has built-in accelerometer, gyro for gesture and step detector. The 48-gram smartwatch is available in three colors: Silver, Rose Gold and Gun Metal.

Huawei Watch 2

Longer battery life and Leica camera is Huawei Watch 2 key features. Launched during the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, the wearable has stun toughest rivals with its low-power mode (which displays the time and tracks the users' steps) with battery life that lasts up to 25 days without charging, CNET reported.

Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 with 4GB of internal storage and  768 MB of RAM. Huawei Watch 2 also supports sports-related features such as GPS to track the users' runs and heart-rate sensor to keep them fit. NFC mobile payments and Gorilla Glass screen are also among the smartwatch's impressive features.

LG Watch Sport and Style

LG Watch Sport has its own fair share of Good and Bad. Always on display, good app selection e.g. Android Pay and built-in LTE and GPS are among the good things about the wearable; whereas, limited workout features, bulky design, short battery life and not interchangeable bands are the smartwatch's disadvantages, Tom's Guide reported.

On the other hand, LG Watch Style features new tweaks in terms of design, navigation and the newly added Google Assistant. According to PC Advisor, the watch is available in three colors: Silver, Titanium and Rose Gold. More options for strap are also available.
