iOS 10.2 Jailbreak Update: Fully Untethered Version Reportedly Coming Soon as Apple Hack Gets Real

By

iOS 10.2 semi-untethered jailbreak hasn't been updated ever since Luca Todesco released it. It's unstable and requires user to re-install. However, the jailbreaking community might want to hear the good news from another hacker.

Is iOS 10.2 Jailbreak Coming?

The software tweak isn't only developed by the Italian jailbreaker but another hacker has claimed that an untethered version of iOS 10.2 jailbreak is coming soon. Lang Shi unexpectedly joins the jailbreak conversation by stating that he will deliver a stable Yalu102. It gets more exciting as he followed up his promise by saying that his codes will be able to fully untether the iOs 10.2 jailbreak with a single tap.

Meanwhile, Todesco said that he would consider releasing the tool when Apple rolls out iOS 10.3 but so far there isn't any significant update on his progress.

Does Apple Hack Imply A Jailbreak?

Meanwhile, Apple adds a stronger encryption to its security layer with the release of iOS 10.3, according to TechRepublic. It would be harder for hackers to infiltrate the software system with the serious updates.

However, a recent report on iCloud hack that has been making headline could be a sign that a few experts actually managed to dive deep into Apple's secured OS. In fact, the hackers have reportedly given ZDNet a proof of more than 50 accounts being stolen from Apple ID database. And these were valid.

To recall your memory, the last time we've heard about iOS 10 security vulnerability was when Pangu demoed it at MOSEC event in 2016. The new report could somehow signify that the breach brings another jailbreak clue to the surface.

Whether or not the hack makes iOS 10 a vulnerable attack, fans should wait for the iOS 10.3 release. Until then, those who wait for the iOS 10.2 jailbreak should stick with the old iOS version.
