The jailbreaking community has relied on Luca Todesco for the tool but sadly it remains unstable until now. However, a recent announcement coming from another reputable hacker seems to be making a clearer path for iOS 10.2 jailbreak.

iOS 10.2 Jailbreak is reportedly arriving soon 

Todesco launched the semi-tethered version of iOS 10.2 jailbreak to public but it requires users to re-install the tool every 7 days or every time the iPhone reboots. This isn't making things better for some as most of jailbreaker users prefer something like Pangu's previous iOS 9 jailbreaking tool that doesn't leave them with a hassle.  

The Italian hacker initially announced that he will release untethered jailbreak, JBme102, but suddenly cancelled his decision. Forbes noted that the future of jailbreaking might be worrying since no one shows up to launch a legit tool.

However, a recent report suggests that Yalu102 will likely turn into untethered version of iOS 10.2 jailbreak with the help of hacker Lang Shi. His tweet has given hopes to the community as he promises to release a working jailbreak for iOS 10.3.

Lang Shi added that the new software will be compatible for the previously jailbroken iPhone 7, ValueWalk reported. With his updates, fans remain optimistic that a new and stable iOS 10.2 jailbreak is coming soon.

Beware of fake iOS 10.2 jailbreak tools

The hype in the realm of jailbreaking has been used by irresponsible parties to launch fake tools to collect users credentials. Todesco warned his followers not to blindly trust the 'trash developer' who opt for personal information.

It's important to stay updated from reputable sources like Pangu, TaiG and Todesco as the three hackers have been popularly known for their excellent jobs in breaking free the iOS restrictions.
