The University of New Georgia will offer a new online doctor of education program starting August of this year. It is now waiting for approval by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

The latest online doctor of education program at UNG is a 60-hour program for educators with leadership experiences. Enrollees may specialize in research, college teaching and higher education. Career educators who finish the online doctor of education program can advance in their profession, both in practice and research, according to the University of New Georgia.
