Nokia 7 and Nokia 8 will make a debut soon and here's what you need to know!

Nokia 7, Nokia 8 Reportedly Put on Test

According to familiar source, HMD Global is currently testing Nokia 7 and Nokia 8. Both smartphones will be the premium tiers, with more advanced hardware compared to the mid-rangers, Nokia 3, 5, and 6.

The Zeiss optics department will receive gain in the unit and both will reportedly sport fingerprint scanner. The impending Nokia 7 and Nokia 8 will have a bigger battery capacity and 6 GB RAM in tow. Reports hint that the devices will be powered by Snapdragon 835. This will be on par to Galaxy S8 launching this year.

Nokia 7 and Nokia 8 will be equipped with fast-charging battery but the detail on capacity is still unknown, Tech Radar has learned. Loyalists expect an improvement on other departments like a slimmer bezel and thinner dimension but so far there's still no confirmation on the build, except that both will have metal unibody. GSM Arena noted that both smartphones will differ in the screen size. Nokia 8 will sport a bigger QHD display whilst Nokia 7 will get the smaller screen (1080 p).

Nokia 7, Nokia 8 Release Date

While details are still scarce but a few outlets have learned that HMD Global will launch both flagships sometime in Q2 2017, possibly in June. The two premium flagships somewhat indicate where Nokia is heading to. It's possible that the likely more affordable handsets will replace the fame of Samsung Galaxy S. This year, Samsung is getting ready for Galaxy S8 unveiling with the same chip as the rumored Nokia flagships. It will be interesting to find out how both compare.

Nokia Smartphones Launching in 2017

Aside from Nokia 7 and 8, it's reported that HMD Global will release six to seven smartphones this year - all of which are manufactured in China, according to TechnoBuffalo
