iOS 10.3 Jailbreak Release Date, Latest News & Update: New Apple File System Will Be Tough To Crack

By

The wait for an iOS jailbreak continues despite the fact no one has successfully come close to exploiting a buggy iOS 10. Looking ahead, there is iOS 10.3 expected to come out, possibly snuffing out all hopes of seeing an Apple crack.

The new Apple File System (APFS) will make it more difficult for hackers to come up with an iOS 10.3 jailbreak. It is still in the beta stages but comes armed with plenty of features that may thwart any iOS jailbreaking attempts. In fact, even Italian hacker Lucas Todesco mentioned that the next Apple operating system is impossible to crack though he did not get into detail. For most, however, Todesco may be inadvertently referring to the new APFS.

iOS 10 Jailbreaks have given up

Aside from Todesco, even the big hacking groups like Pangu have been mum on a potential iOS 10.3 jailbreak. The last working jailbreak was under the iOS 9 series and nothing sustainable has come out for iOS 10. There was that semi-untethered Yalu iOS 10.2 jailbreak, a bit half-cooked but perhaps the closes the Apple jailbreak community can get. Other than that, most of the ones suggested online are fake or have malicious intent.

With the future looking bleak for a potential iOS 10.3 jailbreak, Apple may have finally come up with a way to thwart the exploits. It may only be a matter of time before the final version of iOS 10.3 is rolled out, dashing all hopes of getting freebies and access to usually paid apps.

Time to play fair

It is a reality that most Apple users have to deal with. Aside from the new APFS, the next iOS comes filled with new features. That includes better support for Siri, Safari, and CarPlay, 9 to 5 Mac reported. With no iOS 10.3 jailbreak in sight, it may be time to play and use iPhones and iPads the fair way.
