Now, reports are claiming that the Google Pixel 2 smartphone will implement this feature. According to Autconomy, the Google Pixel 2 smartphone might come along with a VR headset. Google's upcoming Pixel 2 smartphone's focal point will be on major hardware improvements and this includes packing a Virtual Reality feature.

The Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones absolutely have the best cameras in the smartphone world, the Google Pixel 2 smartphone is expected to have even better low-light performance than its predecessors. Since the original Pixel smartphone was launched with Android Nougat, Google Pixel 2 is said to roll out with the Android O 8.0. It has been said that the Snapdragon 830 chipset will power the Google Pixel 2. Nevertheless, rumor has it that the tech giant is also testing Intel chips for the upcoming flagship, Stuff reported.

In terms of prices, it's speculated that Google will implement a $50 increase to the Pixel 2 smartphone compared to the previous Pixel smartphone. In spite of that, Trusted Reviews speculated the price range of Google Pixel 2 to be the same as the first Pixel smartphone. Nonetheless, considering the first Pixel smartphone's announcement and release timeframes, there's a huge possibility that the Google Pixel 2 will be unleashed in late September, if not, maybe later this year.
