New Evidence: Will it Become its Focus in "Making A Murderer" Season 2

In recent reports, Avery's cellmate named Joseph Evans Jr. reveals a chilling statement about Teresa Halbach murder.

Evans unfolds Avery's confession with notes about how the latter raped Halbach before and after her death and how he killed the woman. Not to mention, he also mentioned Dassey's name and how he would have gotten away with the case.

"He said he put the knife to Teresa's throat as he guided her to his bedroom. Teresa was crying and begging him not to kill her," Evans wrote his letters adding that Avery also gives Dassey his permission to have sex with Halbach.

"Steve said that after he had Brendan help him tie Teresa up with rope and taped her mouth shut, they carried her body into the kitchen," the letter continues. "Then he had Brendan help him put Teresa's body back inside of the Toyota, and drove it to his burning pit."

The letter continues with a detailed statement from Evans. This new development came from a letter obtained by Rockford Advocate.
