Jon Hamm, The Hologram Debuts As Hologram Chatbot; ‘Marjorie Prime’ Breaking Barriers Between Fictional World And Reality [VIDEO]

"Marjorie Prime" is breaking barriers by diving into different worlds of realities including augmented, real reality and the mixed class. The upcoming film comes nothing short of modern as it welcomes Jon Hamm the hologram chatbot AKA Holohamm. The Hologram will be played by Mad Man John Hamm.

The Hologram movie is adapting the augmented reality hype. AR is a term used for the technology that overlays an improvised image to the actual image on top of the visible world, Wochit Tech reported in their YouTube Channel. One well-known example to this is the phenomenal Pokemon GO AR Games that took 2016 by storm.

"Marjorie Prime" movie revolves around an 83-year old lady named Marjorie (played by Lois Smith) who misses her husband dearly. She will eventually be left under the care of her daughter and son-in-law. However, this would not suffice her longing to her late husband Walter. She will then get into a habit of talking to the holographic reproduction of her husband. This will be possible through The Creation, a software-driven blank slate that can take on the characteristics and touches Marjorie has about her husband, The Verge added.

In addition, the Holohamm was created prior the "Marjorie Prime" movie launch party at the Sundance Film Festival. Hamm's Hologram alters ego is present as an 8I assistant. The recent showcase has featured Hamm walking in volume metric 3D character interactively responding to humans.

During the Monday event, Geena Davis was spotted in her moment with the Holohamm. The actress held the Holohamm in her hand and freely poked fun with the chatbot by giving him a sharp poke. The beauty of this technology, Halohamm is not hurt at all. Her moment got even more intense and somewhat awkward as the real Hamm joined their company, CNET wrote.

Meanwhile, Microsoft's HoloLens is developing this hype darling and plans to bring everything from "Marjorie Prime" into real reality. Meaning, John Hamm could actually return as your holographic friendly assistance in the future.
