OxygenOS Open Beta Delivers Improved Stability And Partial Bug Fixes [VIDEO]

Following the recent release of the Android Nougat 7.0 that had caused software issues to some OnePlus devices, OnePlus decided to release an update that would address the said issue. Thus, the OxygenOS came into light. The OxygenOS Open Beta came out with a lot of promising features and bug fixes.

Particularly, the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T were affected by the Android Nougat 7.0 update. OnePlus wanted their flagship smartphones to be bug-free and optimized for users to enjoy, they have been diligently releasing incremental updates. True enough, the most recent release of the OxygenOS Open Beta has received positive feedbacks from the users, Neurogadget reported.

The OxygenOS Open Beta is expected to bring improved stability and fixes to the problems that have plagued the OnePlus 3 and 3T. The update will be dealing with problems on proximity sensor, inconsistent Wi-Fi connectivity, along with improvements on certain carriers' API and bug fixes on the Google Play Store. The update also offers additional feature - the extended screenshots, XDA Development reported.

The OxygenOS Open Beta update that is based on the Android Nougat update is now available for download and those who have installed the first Beta will automatically receive the update over-the-air. There are only things that users may need to remember before undergoing update.

  •  Be sure to fully charge the battery before update
  •  Connect to a strong Wi-Fi connection
  •  Back up all important files as it might get lost over the course of the update.

Meanwhile, if the update didn't come out right away, there's no need to worry as it has been initially said that the update will come out incrementally and is not coming to all OnePlus devices at the same time. So, better check the settings every now and then to verify if the update has arrived on your device. Otherwise, stay patient while waiting for the OxygenOS Open Beta.
