Android Nougat update schedules for Moto X Play and ZTE Axon 7 have been confirmed. Check out the details!

Android Nougat update for Moto X Play

The Nougat treat will roll out to Moto X Play in European country by the end of this month as confirmed by the company's representative in Germany.

This may not come as a surprise since the handset has been spotted running Android 7.1.1 Nougat previously. There is no word whether this will be a global update or mainly for European's Moto X Play, according to GSM Arena. Other Motorola handsets receiving Nougat update include Moto G4 and Moto Z.

Motorola Moto X Play is a 5.5-inch device packing Snapdragon 615 and 2 GB of RAM with Camera front sporting 21 MP and 5 MP sensors.  It sports a non-removable 3630 mAh battery with fast charging feature

Android Nougat update for ZTE Axon 7

ZTE officially announced that Axon 7 will receive Nougat update soon. The announcement was made at CES 2017 but apparently the company didn't mention the exact date.

However, Android Headlines who obtained the information from ZTE Germany has confirmed that the rollout should happen sometime in January. Meanwhile, the mini variant of Axon 7 receives December security patch that brings VoLTE support to the handset but there's been no upgrade in the OS version.

Android Nougat update for Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge

Android Nougat is finally rolling out for Samsung's two premium phones, as reported by XDA Developers. After undergoing beta testing for quite some time, the new software update includes security patch and new features exclusively available for Nougat version. There are new set of emojis, split-screen mode and direct replies.

The next Samsung handsets to likely get the update include Galaxy Tab S2, Galaxy Note 5 and S6 series. LG is quite speedy in delivering the latest firmware to its flagships - G5 has already tasted the Nougat treat. As for Xperia X; Sony has announced the rollout of 7.1.1 version via Nougat Concept.
