Redmi Note 3 vs. Galaxy J7 vs. Zenfone 3

As an affordable handset, Redmi Note 3 packs incredible specs that many tech analysts start to compare it to Samsung's Galaxy J7 and Asus' Zenfone 3.

The three smartphones have 5.5-inch display but the Note 3 manages to be the winner when it comes to pixel density (403 ppi). All of these Marshmallow devices pack Snapdragon 600 series chipset but each with different series, according to GSM Arena. Redmi Note 3 is powered by 650 chip- which is the fastest of the three. Zenfone 3 falls on the second place with 625 chip series and Galaxy J7 on third with 617.

Zenfone 3 optics department gets OIS  (4-axis) software for its 16 MP camera - making the device suitable for photography enthusiasts. The front-facing camera packs 8 MP optic - which is the highest amont the three.

Note 3 is at the second place, with its 16MP/5Mp camera pairing. Whilst Galaxy J7  packs a slightly lower quality optics with its 13MP/5 MP cameras.

In the battery front, Redmi Note 3 gets a whopping 4050 mAh battery whilst Zenfone 3 packs the lowest capacity of all with 3000 mAh.

As far as the specs are concerned, Redmi Note 3 offers decent hardware and software combinations. On the other hand, Zenfone 3's impressive camera does not match with the small battery capacity. And Samsung seems to equip Galaxy J7 with average components that could have been upped.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is a solid choice that offers power and performance at a much affordable price.
