Microsoft Surface Phone Updates

When the CEO of Microsoft Satya Nadella said that the Windows-maker company can make the "the ultimate mobile" device, rumor mills have started grinding for the Surface Phone. According to Forbes, the upcoming smartphone will be the first to feature the third updates of Windows 10 on mobile called Redstone 3.

Furthermore, Microsoft Surface Phone is presumed to come in three variants where 3GB of RAM with 32GB-based internal storage will be one of them. In addition, the Windows 10 mobile is also presumed to be powered by a 3000 mAh battery pack.

Moreover, Microsoft Surface Phone is said to sport a 20MP rear camera with a Carl Zeiss lens for better quality of photos. The device is expected to feature a QWERTY keyboard as well the support for Surface Pen, the same feature present in Surface Pro 4.

If the speculations about the specs and features of Microsoft Surface Phone, it could rival the Surface Pro 4 functionalities as well as the performance of Surface Book as noted by Forbes. And according to some other speculations, Microsoft Surface Phone could also possibly kill the presumed iPhone 8 from Apple.

Microsoft Surface Phone Release Date

Although Microsoft has keep their silence on the possible release date of Surface Phones, there are some speculations pointing out that the device will missed out the Mobile World Congress in February 2017 and could hit the store shelves in later part of 2017 or be pushed back to 2018, according to Phone Arena. For this reason, netizens concluded that Microsoft is on its way towards perfecting the device to be able to redeem their glory after the failure attempt to deliver Windows mobile thru Nokia Lumia series.
