Huawei P10 Update & Specs: Features Dual-Curved Lens, Galaxy S7 Edge Copycat; P10 Images Roll Out Ahead Of Release Date

By

Huawei P10 has yet to reveal further information about its physical appearance but that is not a problem anymore. Famed Weibo leaker, @reviewer_xiaokang revealed that the upcoming P10 will sport a dual-curved lens body.

This is something similar to Samsung's Galaxy S7 Edge. Another P10 feature inspired by S7 Edge is a front button scanner which dismisses earlier reports that it will inherit P9's back finger scanner design. This is supported by the recent refresh in Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design.

Huawei P10 will also adopt the trend of wireless charging. Since the device will be Huawei's flagship for 2017 surely, there will be a better technology to support the wireless charging. But Huawei's signature metal unibody usually appears unfit for the concept, GSM Arena reported. On how P10 will incorporate these feature will take some time until the company releases an official announcement about its future smartphone.

Huawei P10: Dual Curved Design versus Classic Flat

However, Huawei P10 is reportedly releasing another version with the classic flat surface. As the company aims to provide buyers some option with a cheaper variant, Tech Radar added. The choice between Huawei P10 Dual Curved Design and Classic Flat will be favorable to users. Moreover, both variants will host a 5.5-inch panel (1440 x 2560 screen) with QHD resolution, another similarity with Galaxy S7 Edge.

Additionally, P10 with be run by Huawei's home processor Kirin 960 SoC. If reports are true it will have a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of on-board storage while its higher tier model will have a 6GB RAM, plus 128GB internal storage.

Whether the leaked images are the prototype or the official look for Huawei P10, the phone will totally rock its range basing on how well P9 models performed, it even stands out it the camera department beating all handsets in the market.
