‘Gears of War 4’: Gears Up For ‘Gearsmas’ With Ugly Sweater DLC; Includes XP Bonus, Snowball Fight Mode [Video]
By Noi Ramirez"Gears of War 4" gears up for the holiday season by rolling out the 'Gearsmas Pack' that provides dozens of new content that include ugly sweaters, a multiplayer mode Snowball Fight, and holiday-themed skins for your weapons that will last until Jan. 4, 2017.

In the spirit of the holiday season, Microsoft and The Coalition slashed 35 percent off "Gears of War 4" until Dec. 28th. According to Engadget, more goodies are in store in the coming UIR Gear Pack within this month, and surprise Easter Egg is also in the offing come Christmas day.
"Gears of War 4" Gearsmas Pack would cost only 400 credits, equivalent to only $0.99. It comes with one bounty and two items from the collection listed below:

"Gears of War 4" Snowball Fight Mode
In Snowball Fight mode, players may use the new "Gears of War 4" holiday themed weapon, the Snowshot. The weapon fires boomshots at your opponents by employing large snowballs. However, only two snowballs are provided for each player and more can be collected throughout the game, GameZone reported.
Furthermore, Xbox wire reported that there will also be special timed rewards to collect that is not found in the "Gears of War 4" Gearsmas Pack. Accordingly, holiday rewards such as the Chuzzmas Emblem will be handed out to players on Dec. 16, and the Ice Boomshot will be handed out on Dec. 27. All the player has to do is to play on those special days to claim the gifts.
Additionally, Crossplay Versus is back in a Special Event of "Gears of War 4" during the season, Xbox and Windows 10 players can game together with a squad of up to five players. And as a final gift to fans, players are given 1.5x XP for both the playlist feature that will last during the duration of Gearsmas.
