Samsung gears up for Galaxy C9 Pro global release as a leak suggests the device has obtained WiFi certification.

Galaxy C9 Pro US Release Date Imminent?

There have been piles of leaks and information, suggesting the Galaxy C9 Pro release was exclusive for China.

However, a recent rumor has indicated that the Samsung flagship will be available for US consumers after a Wi-Fi Alliance certification mentions a codenamed, SM-C900F/DS, believed to be Galaxy C9 Pro's, as a device that's been completing Wi-Fi testing, Softpedia reported.

Galaxy C9 Pro Specs Compared to Galaxy S7

Galaxy C9 Pro packs octa-core Snapdragon 653 chipset with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage on board. The device has 16 MP shooters on the front and back panels. This is an exciting pairing as Samsung has never seen equipping any of its device with the same camera sensor quality for its front and back shooters.

Galaxy C9 Pro packs 6-inch super AMOLED display with 367 ppi pixel density. The handset gets 4,000 mAh battery capacity with fast-charging feature. Other components include USB type C and fingerprint sensor, GSM Arena reported.

Judging from the internal specifications, Galaxy C9 Pro is better than Galaxy S7 as the latter only sports 4 GB of RAM, 12MP/5MP cameras and 3,000 mAh battery.

What makes it even more interesting is the fact that Samsung equips Galaxy C9 Pro with high-end specs the way it equips Galaxy S7 device with a polished design and long battery life.

Galaxy C9 Pro will sell for around $470. This also means that the smartphone is cheaper than Galaxy S7 with $670 pricetag.
