'Fallout 4' News: Top 5 PS4 Weapon Mods Detailed; 'Fallout 4' VR For HTC Vive Released In 2017? [VIDEO]

Most fans and gamers alike would agree that the original version of "Fallout 4" is enjoyable as it is already. However, fans on the PS4 can enjoy the game even more as Bethesda previously introduced the support for mods in Sony's current-gen console. As such, fans can take a look at the top 5 weapon mods that members over at Bethesda's modding community have rated five-stars. In other news, it seems that the VR version for "Fallout 4" might come out in the early half of next year for the HTC Vive, according to sources.

It was previously reported that the 1.8 Update for "Fallout 4," which was released for all three PS4, Xbox One, and PC, University Herald noted. This patch has allowed fans on the PS4 to finally use mods in the game.

However, it was also mentioned therein that mods for the PS4 will only support those that make use the internal assets of "Fallout 4" only.

That being said, the modding community members of Bethesda, via its official website, for the PS4 have continuously uploaded their creations and have actively evaluated the top "Fallout 4" mods with a five-star rating.

First off, fans can download the Winter Blade mod for "Fallout 4," which is a PS4 exclusive. This mod was created by scientist711 and has garnered a five-star rating by 94 other users. This winter-themed mod can be obtained either by following the quest by descending into the Jamaica Plain town hall basement, or by skipping and just simply going through a room to find it.

Another weapons mod that is popular for the PS4 version of "Fallout 4" is the Weapons Pack: Heavy & Explosive by Nuarblack, which was recently updated. With this mod, fans will be able to access an array of rocket launchers, grenade launchers, and tons of other high explosive weapons.

Fans can sift through the official list of mods over at Bethesda's site to see more weapons created for the "Fallout 4" such as the other five-starred mods like Wattz Prototype, Grandpa Savoldi's Shotgun, and Realistic Bullets: Velocity and Gravity.

In other news, fans might be able to see the VR version of "Fallout 4" for the HTRC Vive a bit earlier than expected as recent reports indicate that it might come out in the early half of 2017, VG24/7 learned.

As such, fans can expect a lot more to come for the acclaimed "Fallout 4" game.
