Sony PlayStation Update: PlayStation 5 Expected To Be Compatible With PS4, PS4 Pro and PS VR; PS2 Classic Game ‘Bully’ Now Available For Download On iOS And Android [Video]

Big things are coming to Sony PlayStations recently and it's making noise in the gaming console industry following the recent news that Sony is reaching their 50 Million milestones. Apart from the big news for Sony, rumors continue circulate, especially when it comes to the PlayStation 5 and even a Wedbush Analyst had shared his views on the upcoming PlayStation 5.

Michael Pachter, a video game, digital media, social media and electronics analyst of Wedbush Securities has been controversial but his predictions about the industry were always correct. He has been sharing his predictions for the PS4 Pro, Xbox Scorpio, Nintendo Switch, Red Dead and VR as well as the unconfirmed PlayStation 5.

In an interview, Pachter also discussed the possible compatibility of the recently released PS4 Pro to the succeeding game consoles including the apparent PlayStation 5. While other gaming console developers keep on upgrading their consoles making older versions obsolete, Sony is making efforts to make every console relevant to each other. The PS4 Pro according to Pachter is meant to be a mid-cycle upgrade making all of its software relevant to PlayStation 5 and all other console that will be released after the PS4 Pro.

These efforts of by Sony had helped them to reach the 50 Million milestone in just a matter of 3 years where they reached 10 Million after the PS4 Pro was released. If Sony continues to allow their gamers to value to the software even after 3 to 4 years, Sony could possibly reach 100 million or even as high as 120- 140 million Pachter said.

On the other hand, classic PlayStation game fans out have another reason to rejoice because the famous PS2 game "Bully" is coming to iOS and Android to honor the Rockstar game's 10th anniversary. The anniversary edition of "Bully" will come with everything from the original PS2 release.
