Recently, an extended trailer was released for its latest installment, "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite," that featured both Captain America and Morrigan. As such, rumors have been circulating around as to whether fans will see the X-Men in the upcoming game.

It was recently reported that Capcom has unveiled its first trailer for "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" during the PlayStation Experience 2016, Forbes noted. Fans were able to get a glimpse of the upcoming installment that features the Unreal Engine 4 being utilized by the game.

Moreover, it was revealed in the initial trailer for "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinity" that fans will be able to harness the power of the Infinity Stones (courtesy of the Marvel universe). It also shows "Street Fighter's" Ryu and Mega Man X going toe-to-toe with Iron Man and Captain Marvel.

However, the same trailer was re-released but for an extend version where it confirms the appearances of Captain America and Morrigan (who is known from the "Darkstalkers" franchise), Gamerant reported.

The source went on to cite a video posted via Marvel Entertainment's YouTube channel that showcased the extended trailer.
