Samsung has painstakingly unveiled the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 back in September amidst the debacle caused by Galaxy Note 7. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 may not be like the high-end Windows-based Galaxy TabPro S and Galaxy Tab S2, the mid-ranged Samsung device still possessed equally great features that enticed the interest of the users. According to CNET, significant improvements have been observed on the device since the 2015 version and some of its added features are 13 hours video playback, anti-glare screen with blue light filter and the most anticipated support for Samsung Pen.

Under the hood, Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 with S Pen is built with the following specs: 3GB of RAM with 16GB storage expandable up to 256GB (with microSD), powered by Exynos 7870 octa-core processor, 10.1-inch screen display with 1920 x 1200 resolution and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow mobile operating system and is likely to get the updates for Android 7.0 Nougat in December.

Furthermore, Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 with S Pen has 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. The device also has 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connectivity, USB port and support for nano-SIM, according to Gadgets NDTV.

Support for S Pen is considered to be the most revolutionary feature of Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 according to the Senior VP of Samsung Product Marketing Gary Riding. He said that S Pen allows the users to write, edit and draw with precision as well as take screenshots and draw on their Galaxy A tablet.

Furthermore, users of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 can also utilize the Samsung Notes for note-taking tasks. Samsung Notes has been integrated with S Note, Action Memo and Scrapbook and users will be able to view them together.
