Microsoft Surface Phone Updates

Microsoft is reportedly conducting an innovative research to deliver the "ultimate mobile device" in the smartphone market called Surface Phones. According to MacRumors, the existence of the device has directly confirmed by the CEO of the company Satya Nadella during his interview with Australian Financial Review, in which he said, they're looking forward to bring something different to the market.

Surface Phone is considered as the bold return of Microsoft to the smartphone industry. It can be recalled that the Windows-maker has been terrible disappointed when the Nokia Lumia tagged as Windows phone did not bring in so much for the company, thus, resulted to the laying off of hundreds of employees.

Microsoft Surface Phone Features

Surface Phone is said to be an "ultimate mobile device" and having said that, rumongers started to speculate some of the extraordinadry features that would land in the next generation smartphone. Some of the rumored features include a Mini-PC smartphone (akin to HP Elite x3) that would have a keyboard support and runs Windows 10 OS.  

Furthermore, Surface Phone performance and capabilities are also rumored to be at par with the highly praised and well-received Surface Book as well as the Surface Studio. The presumed Mini-PC smartphone is also rumored to come in three variants, Trusted Reviews reported.  

Microsoft Surface Phone Release Date and Price

Surface Phone is rumored to be released together with Surface Book in the second quarter of 2017 before Apple releases its iPhone 8 in September for the 10th iPhone Anniversary celebration. No information have been revealed about the price but looking at the possible features and specs, a higher cost is much anticipated.
