He is not only an artist, entrepreneur and a creative director. He is now also a holder of a Master's Degree. Kwame Nsiah Apau, or more popularly known as Okyeame Kwame the Rap Doctor, recently received his Master's Degree from the University of Ghana Business School.

As a young boy, his parents expected him to become a doctor. However, his focus in his younger years pointed towards rap music. As a student in Anglican Senior High in Kumasi, he joined several local shows and performances that would require him to showcase his rapping skills. It looks like his parents' dream of him becoming a physician was slipping away as he learned to love music more.

To earn his higher education, in 2010, he attended the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. From there, he learned music and studied the classical guitar. In 2015, Kwame enrolled at the University of Ghana Business School to earn a masteral degree in Marketing Strategy. And after a successful run, he now graduates, cites Pulse.

But he is not able to receive his degree in person. The rapper expresses that he has mixed feelings about the graduation. Currently, the rapper is stuck in Cincinnati because of his rap tour. He did send his sentiments to the university through social media. Although he is sad that he is unable to attend, he did encourage the rest of the graduates to become successful and move forward.

During his career, Okyeame Kwame was very vocal about crediting his education for his success. Aside from being a popular rapper, he also owns his own record label with his wife and co-owns a shoe manufacturing company. In 2015, he was appointed as the ambassador for the African Union. In the same year, he was also appointed as the ambassador for the Junior Boys Mentoring Conference that seeks to equip young people with the education and skills needed when socializing with the outside world.
