"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is rumored to be delayed due to the localization of the video game. A new "Mario" video game might be the game title that Nintendo will release together with the launching of Nintendo Switch.

"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" delay rumor

Nintendo tipster Emily Rogers wrote on her official website that "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" will be delayed due to its localization. She revealed that due to its large scope, Nintendo will have a hard time localizing all of the video game's text, NPCs, and quests for western audiences. She also said that the localization of the game might continue through until the end of this year.

After the localization process for western audiences, the video game will have to undergo four to six months of testing before it is finally launched for purchase, Rogers said. Since Nintendo wants this massive open-world game to be perfect, they will make sure the final result will have no faults before its launch. It is possible that it will launch on May or even early summer.

"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" fans not happy with rumor

According to the official website of Reddit, some fans are complaining about these rumors of delays. They are especially angry about the rumor where "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" will not be a Nintendo Switch launch title. A member said that he highly doubts that the game will be delayed again, but if it does, then they will just have to understand the developers.

"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" launch title replacement will be a "Mario" game?

Since "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" will not become the launch title for Nintendo Switch, fans are suggesting that there should be a replacement for it. Some are suggesting that the replacement might be another "Super Mario Bros." video game, which will fit the role perfectly.
