Now, a photo of Togashi in a party was leaked which caused a stir among fans. Speculations that he might have been faking his death all along even started. Despite negativity, there are those who believe that the photo indicates that the author is on his way to recovery and he will pick up where he left off in the anime.

Nevertheless, in as much as the release of episode 361 is still bizarre, there are already speculations on what will transpire in the next few episodes. Accordingly, fans can expect more fighting encounters in the later episodes of "Hunter X Hunter." Gon's journey and adventures will more likely be emphasized like never before as well.

At present, there are still speculations about the possibility of the series being released in 2017.
