Rumors suggest that Microsoft is heading towards a late 2017 launching date of the upcoming Surface Book 2 because of the assumed features redesigned. Microsoft has reportedly revamped the physical design of the laptop, most especially the dynamic fulcrum hinge which gathered negative reviews from the previous model.

Microsoft Surface Book 2 Possible Features

The newly launched Surface Book i7 (the latest iteration of Surface Book) is built with impeccable features on its hardware and software component. According to CNET, the newly launched laptop features a better battery performance as well as its speed due to the changes made in its processor, which is currently running the Intel Core i7.

For this reason, it is expected for the upcoming Surface Book 2 to sport the same external and internal features that its predecessor has. The upcoming 2017 flagship laptop of the Windows-maker company is expected to have the following specs and features: 16 hours battery life, 13.5 inch PixelSense display, two ports for USB 3.0, SD Card reader in full size, Mini Displayport and headphone jack.

In addition, since the Surface Book laptops are closer to tablets than the traditional laptops, it is also expected for the new device to sport a detachable keyboard as well as the support for a rechargeable Surface Pen. For this matter, Surface Book 2 is expected to sport a touch screen display similar to the 2-in-1 PC tablets, the Surface Pro devices.

Microsoft Surface Book 2 Addresses the Issues on Dynamic Fulcrum Hinge

It can be recalled that Surface Book was once in the hot water due to its bumpy physical looks that is attributable to the dynamic fulcrum hinge that builds a gap in-between that resulted to a half-closed laptop. According to The Verge, Surface Book 2 seems to be the answer to the issue because Microsoft is allegedly coming up with a conventional physical design on the new laptop.
