Looking for a Job this in Orange County This Holiday Season? Nordstrom Needs 11,000 Seasonal Employees
By Beth GoldenIt's that time of the year again and hiring of seasonal employees ahead of the holidays is in full swing. Nordstrom is in need of 11,400 extra pair of hands at its traditional retail stores, Nordstrom Rack stores and its fulfillment and distribution centers.
Of the 11,000 plus seasonal employees, 1,200 position will be for the retail stores in Southern California and 1,900 will be for the distribution and fulfillment centers to help with the expected volume of online shoppers. Nordstrom has a fulfillment center located in San Bernardino and distribution centers in Newark and Ontario.

The Postal Service
The USPS plans to hire 35,000 to 40,000 seasonal workers ahead of the holiday season. About 500 positions is in Orange County. Interested parties can go to usps.com to apply
In light of the holiday shopping rush, the retail giant is looking to hire 70,000 additional team members to man its 1,800 stores across the country. The company is looking at around 14,300 positions in California and hundreds in the greater Los Angeles area. The toy chain store is also looking for thousands of hire this season with 5,500 employees for its California stores. Also, Toys "R" Us expects 15-20% of its traditional hires to become permanent employees.
