Video game developer Capcom and Microsoft made it known at E3 2016 that they were resuming their collaboration for another entry in the "Dead Rising" franchise. Specifically, both companies revealed that there's a "Dead Rising 4" in the works, and now, the release of "Dead Rising 4" will happen on Dec. 6.

"Dead Rising 4," which is an open world survival horror beat 'em up video game, has long been planned to roll out this 2016, since this year signifies the 10th anniversary of the franchise. The "Dead Rising 4" will make it just in time for festivities for the reason that it will take place during the holiday season in Willamette, Colorado, according to Gotta Be Mobile.

The official Xbox page of "Dead Rising 4" indicated that the video game can now be pre-ordered for Xbox One. Pre-ordering the game will give players the opportunity of the exclusive weapon X-Fists, which can be equipped with the Exo suit for a petrifying zombie smashing experience.

"Dead Rising 4" also shows off its innovative armory of weapons and vehicles, which can be crafted by video gamers depending on their desires. The "Dead Rising 4" game is created as an open world sandbox packed with numerous zombies that can suddenly pop up from anywhere.

In spite of that, in the previous versions of "Dead Rising," gamers will portray the journalist Frank West, who wants to disseminate the truth behind the zombie outbreak. The game world of "Dead Rising" can be explored seamlessly and gamers are provided with tons of ways to fight it out with the zombies.

That being said, as per the official website of "Dead Rising," it can be noted that the zombie apocalypse-themed video game franchise has already sold 8.6 million copies worldwide. The game series is highly anticipated due to its unique dark humor and innovative open world that can be explored by players.
