A number of Apple enthusiasts were disappointed with the tech company's iPhone 7 launch event last September. This is mainly because of the circulating rumors in the past, suggesting that the tech giant will finally unveil the iPad Mini 5 at the event. However, it seems the timeframe has been changed once again, and it suggests a much later date.

As the tech giant is currently busy focusing on the MacBook Pro 2016 that is slated to debut later this October. With the said refreshed MacBook Pro likely to end the year, the first gadget likely to come out next year is the iPad Pro.

Three variants of the iPad Pro are reportedly coming. The devices will be distinguished through their sizes, such as the 9.7-inch, 10.1-inch, and 12.9-inch variants. But if rumors turn out to be true, the iPad Mini 5 could blend in as well. The Cupertino-based tech company may add the 7.9-inch variant that could be known as the iPad Mini Pro, according to Phone Arena.

It has been speculated that Apple will most likely unleash its next batch of iPad Pro flagships in early 2017, based on the report of MacotakaraOne interesting point of the information on the report is the lack of a specific name for the smaller device, which is probably why some reports claim that the tech company may change the market name of the iPad Mini 5 and instead place it under the Pro name, according to The Verge.

The speculation seems to go along perfectly with a previous rumor claiming that the iPad Mini 5 is going to be called the iPad Mini Pro once the gadget will be introduced, MNR Daily reported.

Anyway, the iPad Mini 5 is expected to come along with a Smart Connector along with quad speakers. The iPad Mini 5 or iPad Mini Pro will likewise have a 12MP main camera that holds both a True Tone flash and display.
