iOS 10 Jailbreak Pangu is Ready? Developer Waits for iOS 10.1 Update so It won't Go to Waste [RUMOR]

By

When will Pangu release iOS 10 jailbreak? This is certainly the question that jailbreaking fans often ask to the hacker team.

For the record, Apple already rolls out the updated version of iOS 10 - iOS 10.0.2 - and the public still has not seen any jailbreak tool coming for the newest Apple OS version.

iOS 10 jailbreak: Luca Todesco, security flaw and everything else

iOS 10 has already been jailbroken by Italian hacker, Luca Todesco. However, he does not make the tool available for public, as reported by University Herald. With that being said, jailbreaking fans regard his masterpiece as a fake. Many tech analysts have also recommended not to jailbreak iPhone 7 yet as it could increase the security vulnerability and make the phone prone to malware.

Previously, Russian security firm Elcomsoft has claimed to find the vulnerability in iOS 10 backup system. The company has stated that it could hack the mechanism in iOS 10 2,500 faster than in iOS 9.

Apple is tightening the security layer in iOS 10 and with the new iOS 10.0.2 being rolled out, it could be just an update of minor firmware and bugs fixing from the previous version.

iOS 10 jailbreak release date: What Pangu is waiting for?

It is almost certain that Pangu will wait for Apple to roll out the iOS 10.1 before releasing the iOS 10 jailbreak so it would not go to waste. It happened to the previous iOS 9 jailbreak where Pangu did wait for the OS to be in its stable mode before developing the tool to break the restriction.

And based on Jay Freeman explanation about a public jailbreak, the hacker said that a jailbreaker could wait for the OS update to arrive before the exploit is released. Once Apple fixes the bugs, a full jailbreak is expected to be released, iDigitalTimes reported.
