Nintendo NX Latest Updates, Release Date, News: New Console Price Leaked Ahead Of Major Announcement

By

As gamers wait for an official reveal date by Nintendo, a potential price of the Nintendo NX leaks. Tesco, a British multinational retail company, set its Nintendo NX pre-order page live along with some interesting details.

The British retail company advertised the Nintendo NX with a price tag of £349.99, something that would be a contender for the PlayStation 4 Pro in terms of cost.

But, until the Nintendo NX price and release date is revealed by the Japanese tech company, Nintendo, fans should probably not to believe the news. Especially given the fact that the Nintendo NX was also advertised with a December 31 launch date, according to Express.

However, the fact that Tesco made a choice to publish the Nintendo NX pre-order page and then removed it, speculations pitched in that the Nintendo NX console could be revealed soon.

The Japanese tech company has previously said that they will launch the console next March, although it has been claimed that the Nintendo NX reveal would need to take place in October.

Though moving on, the price tag of Nintendo NX is up there, going a little higher than the price of PS4 Pro's $400. With these prices, the buyer of the PlayStation 4 would have a discounted controller or perhaps a new game with what's left, Cinema Blend reported.

Anyway, some analysts feel sure of the truth that the lack of announcement of Nintendo NX could be linked to some kind of big mobile gaming tie-in. While others believe the Japanese tech giant has plans for a new Augmented Reality selling-point, as the tech company have stated they are afraid of competition potentially copying its ideas.

The Nintendo NX is slated to be a handheld hybrid, which will include three components. The first component is a dock, the second component is a performance module. The third component is said to be the handheld device itself.
